Rudimenti is an on-going research dedicated to the surface of percussion instruments and to the production of sound intended as a form of movement; the goal is to present the skin instruments as territories of action and investigate, through them, the sound-space-body relationships, the vitality of objects and the polyrhythm, understood as an ecological configuration of localized and multiple sound events.
Rudimenti grows through the realisation of performances, workshops, conferences, texts, recordings.
